finally some great music is coming out of cincinnati!( I know, I know, afghan whigs are great and their from cincinnati, but other than them and a few other bands, the music scene has really been lacking interesting, up until a few years ago)

QUIT YOUR JOB! MOVE TO CINCINNATI (WILLIAMSBURG, NY)!!! EVENTUALLY YOU WILL FIND A PARTY WHERE THERE ARE CATACOMBS THAT LEAD TO A MYSTERIOUS DOORWAY (ALSO CALLED “SHROOMS”–0:24)AND ONCE YOU CROSS OVER YOU ENTER A WORLD OF DANCING, FACEPANT, AND RUNNING (FROM RESPONSIBILITY)!!! JOIN THE HIPSTERS!!! JOIN THEM FOREVER!!!!

  • linca2 says:

screen falling off the door / door hanging off the hinges
my feet are still sore / my back is on the fringes
we tore up the walls / we slept on couches
we lifted this house / we lifted this house

fire-crackers in the east / my car parked south
your hands on my cheeks / your shoulder in my mouth
i was up against the wall on the west mezzanine
we rattle this town / we rattle this scene

  • bladecat4 says:

    Personally, I think
we rattle this town / we rattle this town
instead of we rattle this scene would be less predictable and stop the listener from drifting off.
Also, the music video would be better if we either saw less of the lead singer or saw him from a more consistent angle i.e. straight on. A more original idea might be to show his face in profile as he moves around for the entire play. Once he walks through the door into a sunny glade, freedom of camera angles would have a good effect.

Also, this is less surreal than Boards of Canada. Then again, nothing is more surreal than Boards of Canada.

  • tennisbrt6 says:

Does anybody else just watch this over and over to try to pick out all the random but really funny/interesting things that are going on around the lead singer/in the background of the video?

  • slaytesics says:

5 People like to watch old men scream all day instead of music.
