News: Chantal Kreviazuk to Donate Proceeds to U of W
Kreviazuk Giving to U of W
DEC 05 2006 04:50 PMChantal Kreviazuk says she’ll donate the proceeds of an upcoming Winnipeg concert to launch a new multi-million dollar “Opportunity Fund” at her old school.. the University of Winnipeg.
Kreviazuk is on tour right now promoting a new album, Ghost Stories.
The Winnipeg Concert is February 19th at the Centennial Concert Hall.U of W President Lloyd Axworthy says the initiative demonstrates Kreviazuk’s dedication to her alma mater, and also a committment to making education accessible to everyone.
