The Video Games Live orchestra and choir perform the theme from “Civilization IV” in this excerpt from the new “Video Games Live” PBS special. VGL, coming to TV for the first time in summer 2010 on PBS, is an immersive concert event featuring music from the biggest video games of all time. Filmed in New Orleans with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and choir, watch as top musicians from around the world perform along with exclusive video footage and music arrangements, synchronized lighting, solo performers, guitarists, percussionists, live action and unique interactive segments to create an explosive one-of-a-kind entertainment experience.
