  • Skyjuice70 says:

Now that is a real trio in every sense of the word and of course, this young lady was certainly born to do it. God Bless you Eperanza.

  • RightoJoe says:

Wow .. is it me… or is that audience dead??? So much soul from this beautiful being … to a soul-less crowd.

  • laydeebug86 says:

@RightoJoe i was thinking the same. they seemed so uncomfortable by her presence.

  • michiyo91 says:

@RightoJoe well of course its a soulless crowd…its a bunch of politicians. probably the only one with a soul is obama.rofl. XD

  • somedaywewillflyaway says:

Wow, what can I say? She’s perfect.

    I love this f*cking song!

  • LawdMyEyes says:

Astounding… just; I’m sorry, I don’t have the words! I’m so overwhelmed by her emotion and grace I could cry… no joke.

  • harmolarz says:

@mulchdiggums focus on her music and you hear her heart. Ez took up the prez’s request to speak her mind (lyrics) at a world staged event. It has everything to do with every one of us and every world leader…Peace!

  • skimes11 says:

Hey everyone just letting you know that you can pre-order Esperanza Spalding’s new album Chamber Music Society from iTunes for $9.99!

  • mulchdiggums says:

@harmolarz haha yea he gave her the platform, but if he gave it to me i wouldnt be goin “oh president i love you, and i love usa” and neither is she. its just a gig, being a president doesnt make you a ‘higher’ it may aswell be a venue owner is wat im saying, stop with the yank loving.

  • harmolarz says:

@mulchdiggums I hear ya. I don’t kiss up to any man or any land, but I’ll always give give a nod and bless the man or woman, prince or pauper who tries to articulate peace. Ok, I’ll shut up now with the kumbaya’s and enjoy the music with you.

  • airasweetie says:

love miss spalding! but barack obama got nothing to do there. the nobel prize also include a peace prize and i dont think that a president that´s throwing a war against other countries can qualify to have the right to be there. go home fucking asswhole! come back when you are solving your countries problems without war.

  • aquamahquisha says:

    @airasweetie I don’t usualy do this but…..Mr. President didn’t start the war.

  • mulchdiggums says:

@harmolarz sorry man i didnt mean to be that harsh, i just tarred you with the steroetypical view of an american, which was wrong. sorry mate

  • seohyunmusic says:

I’ve come to appreciate Obama even more for his distinctive good taste in music.

  • seohyunmusic says:

Let’s keep in mind that Mr. Scumbag, aka George W. Bush is the one that started this and that President Obama is not entirely faulty for being unable to resolve a complication so quickly. So lets not be so quick minded if you please.

  • sebajo82 says:

    elite music for elite event…

  • lajbass3o1 says:

oooh man she played in front of obama, i would of been soooo nervous lol she such a great musician and has a beautiful voice her and lalah hataway should do a song

  • Elly Becka says:

I was studying something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your perspective on it is diametrically contradicted to what I read before. I am still mulling over the various points of view, but I’m inclined heavily toward yours. And irrespective, that’s what is so good about advanced democracy and the marketplace of ideas on-line.
