Oh I love Joe Jackson. He did a smashing cover of Eleanor Rigby. Have you heard it? I think I have it on my hard drive.

I wish I had more Joe Jackson on my ‘puter .. will have to convert a CD or two one of these days. Only have “Stepping Out”, “Is She Really Going Out With Him” and three versions of “Beat Crazy” .. Can’t say I heard the Eleanor Rigby version.

Is Classic Rock defined as 70s-80s?
    No Fleetwood Mac . . .

  • HART says:

Actually, I was debating whether or not to include Lindsay Buckingham’s live acoustic version of “Big Love” but, that was the only Fleetwood Mac Live song that I had.

The Wikipedia free encyclopedia suggests that Classic Rock may have started with Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album, but I think the 70-80’s is when people started calling it “classic” .. ‘cuz ROCK (‘n roll) has been here a lot sooner than that!
